NCC army unit of S B College comes under the 15 Kerala Battalion NCC Thiruvalla. It has a sanctioned strength of 150 cadets. Every year 33% of the total strength is enrolled from the first-year students. Last year, two cadets from the unit represented the Kerala and Lakshadweep Directorate in the Republic Day parade held in New Delhi.
