The Department of Renewable Energy Management is dedicated to providing quality education and skill-based training in the rapidly growing field of sustainable energy. The department focuses on bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements by offering practical exposure, hands-on training, and industry-oriented curriculum. With the increasing global demand for clean and green energy solutions, the department aims to develop competent professionals who can contribute effectively to the renewable energy sector. The B. Voc degree is equivalent to BA/B.Sc degree for higher studies and employment.
As a part of B Voc programme, state-of-the-art lab facilities were set up to train the students

The Solar PV Training & Research System is a mini-Solar PV Plant Prototype which enables students to understand in-depth concepts about stand-alone PV systems. The product also provides research orientation on several concepts such as MPPT, inverter control etc.

Solar PV Grid-Tied Training System can be used for training and research of complete life cycle of Grid Tied System.
Solar Flat-Plate Collector Based system is a replica of the solar water heating system designed in a form of experimental setup to help students learn and experience different parameters of performance of Flat Plate Collector System.
Wind Energy Training System is a scaled down version of actual wind turbine power plant. This system facilitates the students with working on configurable model of wind turbine.
The Solar Parabolic Trough Collector Based System consists of parabolic reflectors, absorber tube, sun tracker, piping, storage tanks and a heat exchanger. The system can be used to perform experiments in heat transfer, parabolic trough characteristics and heat loss at different parts of the system.

In spite of this, the institution has set up a 1 KW Standalone solar photovoltaic system for study purpose
Renewable energy refers to energy derived from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, water, and biomass, which are sustainable and environmentally friendly. With growing concerns about climate change and depletion of fossil fuels, the renewable energy sector is expanding rapidly worldwide.
